The region of Central and Eastern Europe is known and confirmed to be one of the cradles of winemaking not only in Europe but also in the world. Wine has been made historically there for over 8000 years and to this day it features some of the most successful countries, producers and vineyards having preserved the traditions inherited in viticulture since the ancient times.
Join us and our good friend Dilyan Kolev from The Jolly Merchants who specializes and judges at competitions for these countries for the last few years on a journey through Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Slovenia and their craft wines. A lesser known in the UK corner of the wine world yet based on a long and authentic history and full of genuinely interesting wine stories. We look forward to having the opportunity to share them with you.
